On the 27th of August the E21LE team held a PhD workshop. As our researchers are spread across multiple states, the workshops are an invaluable time in which the research team and the PhD candidates are able to come together to collaboratively workshop issues relevant to the E21LE research project, discuss research questions, present research progress and data collection, and discuss upcoming fieldwork and publications.
As part of the recent workshop, we visited one of our case study sites at Caulfield Grammar School’s (CGS) Wheelers Hill campus. On site Andrea Nelson and Paul Bunting from CGS, and Lisa Horton from Hayball joined the team for a tour of the new learning pod and their traditional classroom spaces. It was a wonderful opportunity to observe the new learning spaces in use, discuss research progress, on site data collection and issues around the design, roll out, occupation and effective use of the new learning environments. Our special thanks to Caulfield Grammar School and Hayball for enabling and facilitating this research visit.
